I signed up for yuletide yesterday, pretty soon after they opened up registration. I'm pretty sure that I was #144 or something around that number. Since my life's insane this year, what with graduation and everything, I only signed up to write fandoms that I knew that I could pull off without having to re-read or re-watch anything. I just got an e-mail from a random student on campus telling me that they're trying to get an active Democratic political club started up in the next few days. They're as sick as I am about the majority of people on campus ripping into us for not supporting McCain/Palin, and they really want to do something about it ( Read more... )
